Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar announced a series of retaliatory measures against the UK following new sanctions announced by the British government against Israel and Israeli settlements.

Axar.az reports that Sa’ar stated on his X account that Israel would close the British consulate in Jerusalem and expel British representatives from the international Gaza aid coordination center in Kiryat Gat.

Israel will also halt British activities to train Palestinian Authority security forces in the West Bank and bar 12 British officials and citizens involved in what Sa’ar described as anti-Israel and antisemitic activities from entering Israel.

Sa’ar said the measures were a response to two years of unilateral actions against Israel, warning that measures against Israel “will not go unanswered.”
