Ukraine opened 'Pandora's box' with Black Sea strikes

Russia will continue striking commercial vessels in the Black Sea that are used to transport weapons, ammunition and fuel for the Ukrainian armed forces.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that “I want to remind you of President Putin’s statement that we did not carry out any strikes. Only after the Ukrainians began striking our peaceful infrastructure and economic facilities did they open a ‘Pandora’s box'."

He said commercial vessels are being used to deliver weapons, ammunition and fuel to the Ukrainian armed forces and therefore are being destroyed and will continue to be destroyed.
