Peskov: Russia remains open to negotiations

Russia remains open to negotiations on a settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, and no conditions are being imposed for the talks themselves, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.

Axar.az reports, citing TASS, that Peskov said Moscow hopes to resume a trilateral dialogue with the United States and Ukraine in the foreseeable future.

“No one is setting conditions for the negotiations themselves; we remain open to negotiations. We hope that, as was said with the American negotiators, in the foreseeable future we will be able to meet again as three and continue the dialogue,” Peskov said.
