Moscow, Minsk coordinate Belarus army combat readiness

Moscow and Minsk coordinate most activities related to checking the combat readiness of the Belarusian army, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Peskov said some exercises are conducted solely at the national level and are not coordinated between the two countries.

“There are joint activities, and there are national activities that are not coordinated. But overall, most of them, of course, are coordinated,” Peskov said.

Earlier, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said Belarus planned to conduct a comprehensive check of the combat readiness of its armed forces, including mobilization.
