Ukraine’s war costs reach $190 million per day in 2026

Ukraine’s state budget is spending about $190 million a day on the war in 2026, excluding weapons provided by international partners, Verkhovna Rada Budget Committee Chair Roksolana Pidlasa said.

Axar.az reports that Pidlasa said on her Facebook account that national security and defense spending reached nearly $42 billion in the first eight months of the year, while Ukraine raised about $39 billion in domestic resources.

Pidlasa added that the defense forces need an additional $27 billion by the end of the year.
