Iranian Boeing 737 forced to make emergency landing - Video

An Iranian Boeing 737 passenger aircraft began breaking apart in midair.

Axar.az reports, citing Iranian media, that the incident occurred while a Sepehran Airlines aircraft was flying from Mashhad to Kermanshah.

According to the report, shortly after takeoff, a cover from one of the aircraft’s wheels came off and the captain declared an emergency involving the engine. The cabin then began to shake violently, causing overhead compartments to break and passengers’ belongings to fall on them.

The pilot decided to turn back. The aircraft returned to Mashhad Airport and made an emergency landing. None of the passengers was injured.

This is not the first recent incident involving a Sepehran aircraft in Mashhad. In late August, another aircraft veered off the runway while landing. No injuries were reported in that incident either.
