The 108th anniversary of the liberation of Baku has also been commemorated in Turkiye’s Manisa province.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that the anniversary was marked on September 15 at an event organized by the Azerbaijan Culture Association in the Turgutlu district.

The event was organized with the support of the Azerbaijan Culture Association, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, Turgutlu Municipality, and Salihli Municipality.

The event highlighted the brotherly ties between Turkiye and Azerbaijan and the historical significance of the liberation of Baku on September 15, 1918.
