Budanov: Internal destabilization worst-case scenario

The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, said the worst-case scenario for the country is not developments on the front but internal destabilization and the loss of statehood.

Axar.az reports that, in a post on his X account, Budanov said that Ukraine must focus on strengthening its own capabilities to prevent such a scenario.

“The worst-case scenario is not about the front – it is internal destabilization and the loss of statehood. We have no right to allow that to happen."

"The days of diplomatic romanticism are over. No one wants to deal with loser countries, no matter how tragic or glorious their history may be. The world respects strength. So our choice is simple – focus on our own strengths and grow stronger," he added.
