Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet U.S. President Donald Trump in New York on the sidelines of next week’s United Nations General Assembly.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that the two leaders last met on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Ankara in July. Erdogan also met Trump at the White House in September 2025 during his first visit to Washington in six years.

The details of the meeting have not yet been disclosed.

World leaders are due to gather in New York next week for the high-level general debate of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, which will take place from September 22 to 28.
