Kremlin denies plans to mobilize 300,000 by year-end

Russia has no plans to mobilize 300,000 men by the end of 2026, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Axar.az reports, citing TASS, that Peskov denied earlier reports that Russia was preparing to conscript 300,000 people into the army by the end of the year.

“No. There are no such plans,” Peskov said.

Earlier, reports had circulated that Russia planned to mobilize 300,000 people into the army by the end of the year.
