US President Donald Trump is unlikely to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York next week due to scheduling difficulties.

Axar.az reports, citing the Times of Israel, that Trump is scheduled to meet the leaders of the UK, Mexico and Japan on Tuesday before returning to Washington for talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping. He is also expected to meet Venezuela’s interim President Delcy Rodriguez in New York.

Netanyahu is scheduled to address the UN General Assembly next Thursday and is expected to remain in New York for about a day. His office said his travel schedule had not yet been finalized.

According to Israel’s Channel 13, Netanyahu is expected to visit Texas before traveling to New York, where he will hold several meetings, including a possible meeting with Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.

Netanyahu is also expected to meet US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in New York.
