Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit the United States from September 20 to 23 to attend the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Axar.az reports that Burhanettin Duran, head of communications at the Turkish Presidency, stated on X that Erdogan will address the General Assembly on September 22, the first day of the general debate. The theme of this year's General Assembly general debate is “Rebuilding trust and managing transformation: Delivering for all.”

During his visit, Erdogan is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and heads of state and government from various countries.

He will additionally attend events with representatives of Turkish citizens living in the United States, Turkish-American business circles, and think tanks.
