Trump administration does not consider Iran conflict war

US House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson said the administration of President Donald Trump does not consider the conflict with Iran to be an ongoing war.

Axar.az reports that, in an interview with Salem News Channel, Johnson said the issue is now being addressed through diplomatic discussions, particularly efforts to keep the Strait of Hormuz open for commercial traffic.

“The administration doesn't consider this an ongoing war. It's not. They're trying to resolve an operation, Operation Epic Fury, which was an epic success,” Johnson said.

“I think that this thing is in the last phase. I do believe it's going to come to a resolution quickly,” Johnson added.
