Turkish professor apologizes for campaign against Azerbaijan

Professor Selahattin Avsaroglu of Necmettin Erbakan University has apologized for a post concerning the Azerbaijani delegation.

Axar.az reports that Avsaroglu said he had been mistaken after believing information he had seen about the delegation.

“Since yesterday, there have been posts about the Azerbaijani delegation, and unfortunately, I was also mistaken. We believed what we saw.

Now, a friend who is closely familiar with the events alerted me. Of the seven-member delegation, only he was kept inside and given observer status, while the other delegates left,” he wrote on X.
