Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that two people were killed as a result of Russian strikes on Ukraine’s Kyiv region.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that according to Zelensky, Russia attacked Ukraine’s Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Sumy, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Khmelnytskyi and Zaporizhzhia regions overnight and today.

“According to the latest information, dozens of people have been injured. In Kharkiv alone, 28 people were injured in the strike, including nine children.

Unfortunately, there are also casualties. Two people were killed in the Kyiv region. One of them was an Azerbaijani citizen. I extend my condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed,” Zelensky said.
