Iranian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Abdollahi said the Israeli-US side had miscalculated the impact of the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, claiming the resistance front had not weakened.

Axar.az reports, citing the IRGC Telegram channel, that Abdollahi said the enemy had believed that the physical elimination of Nasrallah would cause the resistance movement to collapse, but that calculation had failed.

He said the resistance front had instead reached greater strategic unity and that Nasrallah’s path was continuing in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, Iraq and other areas.

Abdollahi also said Iran’s armed forces, alongside fighters from the Islamic resistance, were fully prepared to deliver what he described as a “decisive and devastating” response to any threat against the Islamic world.
