A drone flew through Moldovan airspace on the morning of September 30 before crashing and exploding outside the village of Girbovatt in Anenii Noi District.

Axar.az reports, citing foreign media, that police were alerted to the incident at 5:40 a.m. after receiving a report that a drone had been spotted flying at low altitude over the city of Bender.

The drone subsequently crashed near Girbovat and exploded. No casualties have been reported, according to preliminary information.

The area has been cordoned off, and specialized police units are working at the scene. Experts will examine the object and determine the circumstances of the incident.
