Gunfight in Turkiye leaves two dead, five injured

Two people were killed, and five others were seriously injured in an armed fight between relatives in Turkiye’s Siirt province.

Axar.az reports, citing IHA, that the incident occurred in the Seyitmeryem hamlet of Gozpinar village in Kurtalan district following a dispute over a financial debt.

The argument between the related families escalated into an armed confrontation, leaving two people dead and five seriously injured.

The injured were taken by ambulance to hospitals in Batman’s Beşiri district and central Batman. Gendarmerie units were deployed to the area, and an investigation has been launched.
