Azerbaijan shares cybercrime experience at UN Congress  -

An event dedicated to the UN Convention against Cybercrime was held as part of the 15th UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.

Axar.az reports that the Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan to the UN, OSCE and other international organizations in Vienna, as well as official UN accounts, shared information about the event on X.

According to the reports, Azerbaijan, one of the first countries to ratify the Convention, contributed to the event titled “From Signature to Implementation: Implementing the UN Convention against Cybercrime.”

Hasan Mansurov, Deputy Head of the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, addressed the event.

The official highlighted Azerbaijan’s role in developing international cooperation in preventing and combating cybercrime.

It was noted that Azerbaijan is ready to share its experience in the process of acceding to the Convention and aligning its national legislation with its provisions.

It should be recalled that the UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice is a global event held every five years under the auspices of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
