Russia will use its entire available arsenal of weapons to defend the Kaliningrad region if it faces a threat from another country, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Axar.az reports that, speaking to Vesti, Peskov said Russia considered Kaliningrad an integral part of its territory and referred to statements from Poland and other countries regarding the region.

“We have said that this is a region of Russia, and in the event of any threat — and we have heard many statements from hotheads in Poland and other countries — Russia will use its entire available arsenal of weapons. This is not a threat at all. It strongly reminds me of Putin’s Munich speech. It was also perceived as a threat. But it was not a threat; it was a warning bell,” Peskov said.

Peskov previously warned European countries against attacking Kaliningrad, stressing that the region is an integral part of Russian territory.
