Ukraine ready for trilateral talks by end of October

Ukraine is ready to take part in a trilateral meeting with the United States and Russia by the end of October, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

Axar.az reports that Zelensky stated on his Telegram channel that the US side had proposed holding a technical-level meeting between Ukraine, Russia, and the United States before the end of October.

“Yesterday, I confirmed to them that our side is ready to support this by the end of October. There is no new information here. We are open to the United Arab Emirates or another country proposed by the American side,” Zelensky said.

He said Washington was expected to make the same proposal to Russia and that Kyiv would wait for Moscow’s response.

"I know that they will make the same proposal to the Russian side — or may have already done so. We will wait for a response. We are responding positively to the talks,” Zelensky said.
