Zelensky: Russia has up to 700 ballistic missiles

Russia has up to 700 ballistic missiles and produces between 130 and 140 more each month, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that Zelensky gave the figures in response to a question about the possibility of large-scale Russian attacks during a joint briefing with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

"According to data available to Ukraine, Russia has around 700 ballistic missiles in its stockpile. In addition, the Russian military-industrial complex produces another 130–140 ballistic missiles per month.

Russia has several thousand missiles of other types. Russia’s capabilities can be reduced, in particular, through sanctions and restrictions on the supply of components needed for weapons production," Zelensky said.
