Two people have been killed and nine injured in a drone attack in Moscow region, regional Governor Andrei Vorobyov said.

Axar.az informs that according to the governor, damage was also reported to 47 private houses across seven municipalities — Volokolamsk, Stupino, Dmitrov, Naro-Fominsk, Serpukhov, Domodedovo and Istra.

According to Vorobyov, three cars were damaged — two in Istra and one in Stupino. A minor fire broke out at a warehouse site in the village of Litvinovo in the Solnechnogorsk district and has already been extinguished.

Earlier, the governor said that 185 drones had been shot down in 16 municipalities across the Moscow Region overnight as authorities responded to the drone attack. At the time, one person had been reported killed and six injured.
