Nearly 200 flights disrupted in Russia amid drone attack

Nearly 200 flights were delayed or canceled at airports in Russia’s Moscow region amid a large-scale drone attack.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that the disruptions were caused by temporary restrictions imposed by aviation authorities for safety reasons amid a mass drone attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The most difficult situation was reported at Sheremetyevo International Airport, where around 60 departures and about 80 arrivals were delayed or canceled.

At Vnukovo Airport, around 40 flights were affected, while at Domodedovo Airport, the departure and arrival times of 13 flights were changed.

Passengers on a flight to Tomsk faced the longest delay, with the flight delayed by more than 21 hours.
