A request to impeach Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has been registered in the Iranian parliament’s system but has not yet been submitted to the parliamentary presiding board.

Axar.az reports, citing Iranian media, that Mohammad Rashidi, a member of the parliament’s presiding board, said the request had been registered but had not yet been formally submitted.

“The impeachment request against Foreign Minister Araghchi has been registered in the system, but it has not yet been submitted to the presiding board. Apparently, one of the lawmakers registered the request, but it was not submitted to the presiding board today,” Rashidi said.
