Milei thanks Messi for his contribution to Argentina

Argentine President Javier Milei has thanked Lionel Messi for his contribution to Argentina’s national team as the 39-year-old forward ended his national career.

Axar.az reports that, in a post on X, Milei praised Messi’s achievements both on and off the pitch.

“Thank you very much, Lionel Messi...!!! By far the greatest of all time. LET’S GO, ARGENTINA, DAMN IT!” Milei said.

"MESSI IS IMPOSSIBLE. Recorded in 2018, when the entire Argentine media was constantly criticizing him... They never apologized to him. CIAO!" he wrote in a separate post.
