Israel says it killed Islamic Jihad and Hamas operatives

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced that it killed three Palestinian militants whom it accused of carrying out attacks against Israeli troops and attempting to restore the capabilities of militant groups in violation of the ceasefire agreement.

Axar.az reports, citing a statement published by the IDF on X, that those killed were Hassam Walid Hassan Abu Al-Ata, a commander in the rocket unit of the military wing of the Islamic Jihad, Magdi Moein Yousef Al-Ayoubi, a member of the military wing of the Islamic Jihad & Muhammad Aja, a company commander in Hamas' military wing.

The IDF said the three had recently advanced attacks against Israeli troops and worked to rebuild the capabilities of the groups they belonged to. It added that they were killed to eliminate the threat they posed.
