Yandex services disrupted in several countries after strike

All three Yandex supercomputers may have been knocked out of service following Ukrainian drone attacks on three of the company’s five data centres in Russia.

Axar.az reports, citing The Moscow Times, that the attacks targeted data centres in the Ryazan, Kaluga and Vladimir regions.

The company has not disclosed the exact condition of the machines following the attacks. However, disruptions to Yandex services have been reported in Russia and several other countries, including Kazakhstan, Serbia, Belarus and Armenia.

Yandex confirmed that its data centre infrastructure had been damaged, warning that its services could experience outages. The company said its specialists were working to restore stable operations as soon as possible.
