Kazakhstan urges citizens in Saudi Arabia to take precautions

Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry has urged its citizens in Saudi Arabia to take extra precautions following attacks on the country’s civilian infrastructure.

Axar.az reports, citing the ministry, that citizens have been advised to follow instructions from local authorities, avoid airports unless necessary, check flight status with airlines in advance, stay away from crowded places and high-risk facilities, and postpone non-essential travel where possible.

Kazakh citizens facing emergencies were advised to contact the country’s embassy in Riyadh or consulate general in Jeddah.

The ministry also urged citizens to follow official updates from Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry and Saudi authorities.
