Macron vows punishment for rioters in France

French President Emmanuel Macron has vowed to prosecute and punish those responsible for violence, attacks on government offices.

Axar.az reports that, in a post on X, Macron said France would stand united against those seeking to create chaos.

“There is no place for violence in our Republic. Those who vandalised property, attacked prefectures and businesses, and looted even our town halls will be prosecuted and punished.

We will stand united against those sowing chaos, who seek only to bring down our institutions and prevent those peacefully expressing their demands from doing so," Macron stated.
