Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has held talks with US President Donald Trump’s representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner on diplomatic efforts to achieve peace.

Axar.az reports that, in a post on Telegram, Zelensky said peace could be achieved only through strength and cooperation built on trust.

“Our teams are in virtually constant communication. We are also preparing the next steps in diplomacy. We continuously inform our partners about the real situation regarding Russian attacks, which have not stopped for a single minute, and air defence issues. Much depends on America’s position in this regard. Ukraine remains ready to work constructively, honestly and towards tangible results,” he wrote.

The talks also covered the results of a meeting between the Ukrainian and US teams in Florida. Zelensky said the teams remained in constant communication and were preparing further diplomatic steps.
