Russia ready to resume trilateral Ukraine talks in November

Russia is ready to resume trilateral negotiations with the United States and Ukraine in the second ten days of November, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during talks with US special envoy Steve Witkoff in St. Petersburg.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Putin discussed the possible resumption of negotiations with Witkoff, who briefed the Russian leader on his recent talks in Oslo with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European representatives.

Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov said the talks would focus on establishing a security framework for Russia and Ukraine after the conflict ends. Witkoff said US President Donald Trump would welcome Moscow’s readiness to resume the negotiations.

Putin and Witkoff also discussed potential large-scale economic projects between Russia and the United States. Their meeting lasted more than three hours.
