A cargo ship named Khoryv, carrying Azerbaijani and Ukrainian nationals, has sunk in the Black Sea.

Axar.az informs according to foreign media, the vessel, which was sailing under the flag of the Comoros Islands, reportedly sank after a suspected drone strike.

The incident occurred approximately 13 nautical miles off the Romanian port of Constanța.

According to Romanian naval authorities, 13 people were on board the vessel: 10 Ukrainian nationals and three Azerbaijani nationals.

One sailor was killed, three remain missing, and nine were rescued. The nationality of the deceased has not yet been disclosed.
