World’s largest passenger jet unable to land in Moscow

The world’s largest passenger aircraft, an Airbus A380 flying from Dubai to Moscow, has been unable to land at Domodedovo Airport due to safety restrictions.

Axar.az reports, citing TASS, that the aircraft is circling over Russia’s Penza Region while awaiting the reopening of Moscow’s airports or a decision to divert to an alternate airfield.

Flight-tracking services have also confirmed the aircraft’s movements, according to the report.

Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosaviatsiya, earlier announced that Moscow’s airports had been closed to arriving and departing flights.
