A visit by US President Donald Trump to Moscow is not currently being discussed, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.
Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit will be held in Shenzhen, China, on November 18–19. Trump has previously expressed willingness to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the event.
“Currently, there is no discussion of this. Everyone is now focused on Shenzhen,” Peskov said.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry has said Moscow wants the trilateral meeting to take place. Potential topics include strategic stability, nuclear disarmament, and the war in Ukraine.
