Obama attacks Trump administration at Detroit rally

Former US President Barack Obama has criticised President Donald Trump’s administration, accusing it of years of “chaos, and cruelty, and corruption.”

Axar.az reports, citing CNN, that he also said the upcoming midterm elections felt different from previous contests, describing voters as eager for change.

“After 10 years of chaos, and cruelty, and corruption, and incompetence, tomfoolery, nonsense, the likes of which this country has not seen in modern times at least, you get to say enough is enough,” Obama said during a rally in Detroit.

“An election where people are so ready for something new, so hungry for something better, so sick and tired of being sick and tired,” Obama said.

The former president also noted that Trump was more concerned with renovating and decorating the White House than with the interests of the American people.

“He’s got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened the Cheesecake Factory. He’s clearly not focused on lower prices for you,” Obama said.
