Japan urges citizens to prepare for major disasters

Japan’s disaster management minister, Goshi Hosono, has urged citizens to prepare for potential disasters, including major earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.

Axar.az reports that Hosono called on the public to stockpile at least three days’ worth of food, drinking water and toilet supplies.

It should be noted that the UK government also urged residents to keep a three-day supply of food and water at home in preparation for emergencies.
