Ukraine peace talks may take place in UAE in November

Trilateral peace talks involving the United States, Russia and Ukraine may take place in Abu Dhabi after November 4, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has said.

Axar.az reports, citing Polish media, that speaking at a government meeting on Tuesday, Tusk said preparations for the negotiations were taking shape logistically, although there were still no guarantees that the meeting would take place.

The Polish prime minister also revealed that the leaders of Norway and Finland had held contact with Russian President Vladimir Putin following consultations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the United States.

"I received a briefing from the Norwegian prime minister, in which he confirmed that, politically, both leaders are of course taking responsibility for how the conversation unfolds, but he assured me that everything we had agreed on earlier would be presented very faithfully,” Tusk said.
