The brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Turkiye is too deeply rooted to be confined to the limits of daily developments and too profound in its historical significance to be overshadowed by political and diplomatic issues. Our brotherhood has been strengthened by the will of two nations, consolidated through shared struggles and sustained across generations.
Axar.az reports that a statement was issued by Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahceli on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the Republic of Turkiye, the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Turkic republics, and the Ankara Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
Bahceli stressed that the same sensitivity should apply to all brotherly states of the Turkic world.
“No disagreement should be allowed to escalate, no dispute should be turned into a permanent separation, and no seeds of discord should be sown among us.
The bonds of brotherhood are preserved through mutual respect and confidence in a shared future.
Therefore, it is the duty of every member of the Turkic world to place our historical closeness above day-to-day disputes, avoid turning our differences into reasons for division, and refrain from steps that could weaken our future. It must not be forgotten that the strength of the Turkic world lies in the trust we place in one another, the respect we show for our independence, our cultural depth and the determination we demonstrate in pursuit of our common goals."
