Pashinyan calls Declaration of Independence ‘anti-state’

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has described the country’s Declaration of Independence as “anti-state."

Axar.az reports, citing Armenpress, that Pashinyan also said his Civil Contract party would proceed with its election pledge to adopt a new Constitution after securing an absolute majority in the elections.

“That text makes it impossible to have an independent state; it is about the impossibility of having a state,” Pashinyan said.
