Ukraine resumes drone attacks on Russian oil facilities

Ukraine has resumed drone attacks on Russian oil infrastructure after a pause, targeting three oil refineries and a gas chemical complex on Friday, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak has said.

Axar.az reports, citing TASS, that Novak said four processing facilities had come under attack, with one sustaining minor damage.

"Four processing facilities were targeted - three oil refineries and a gas chemical complex. One of the facilities sustained minor damage but overall, our air defenses and protection systems worked," Novak said.

“There was a pause, but attacks resumed today, and our facilities are working to ensure protection,” he added.

Novak said Russian air defence and facility protection systems had generally operated effectively.
