Russian oil refinery ablaze after drone attack

A large-scale fire broke out at Russia's Kstovo oil refinery in the Nizhny Novgorod region following an overnight drone attack on November 1.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that Nizhny Novgorod Region Governor Gleb Nikitin confirmed that an industrial facility in the Kstovo district had sustained significant damage during a large-scale drone attack.

The refinery, operated by Lukoil, is among Russia's five largest oil processing facilities, with a designed annual capacity of approximately 17 million tons of crude oil.
