Tokayev vows accountability for actions against Kazakhstan

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has warned that anyone seeking to harm Kazakhstan or undermine its interests will be held accountable under the law.

Axar.az reports, citing Kazinform, that during a visit to the Qarmet steel plant in Temirtau, Tokayev stressed the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the country.

“For reforms to continue successfully in the interests of the people, we need peace and stability within the country. Anyone who wishes harm to our country and attempts to damage Kazakhstan through their actions must and will be held accountable in accordance with the principle of ‘Law and Order’. Law and Order must prevail in the country,” he said.
