Iran says it has disabled two US drones

Two US MQM-170 reconnaissance drones have been disabled south of Qeshm Island using electronic warfare systems, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has said.

Axar.az reports, citing Iran's Tasnim News Agency, that the IRGC's public relations office said the drones were disabled by advanced electronic warfare systems operated by the force's Aerospace Division.

The statement added that the number of US MQM-170 drones captured by IRGC personnel had risen to four following the latest incident.
