Turkiye denies claims Heydar Aliyev bust will be removed

Claims that the bust located in Heydar Aliyev Park in Turkiye's Sisli district would be removed and a cultural center would be built on the site of the park have been denied.

Axar.az reports that a statement regarding this was shared on the X account of the Center for Combating Disinformation under the Turkish Presidential Administration.

It was stated that Sisli Municipality has no work underway concerning the area in question and that no such project is on the agenda.

The Center noted that the dissemination of old and unfounded claims constitutes provocation and disinformation aimed at Azerbaijan-Turkiye relations.

The public was urged in the post not to trust such claims.
