Atambayev's party quits parliamentary coalition

Kyrgyzstan's Social Democratic party, led by close allies of President Almazbek Atambayev, has quit the parliamentary coalition because of disagreements with its partners, parliament deputy Azamat Arapbayev said on Monday.

Arapbayev, a member of the Social Democratic party, said the move, which will trigger the creation of a new coalition and may lead to the resignation of the cabinet, was a result of other coalition members' refusal to support constitutional reforms proposed by Atambayev.
