Mail.ru Group refuses Ukraine

Mail.Ru Group stops delivering internet traffic to Ukraine because of high prices.

"We think that this will not affect our Ukrainian users because there are many other channels of commercial operators, apart from our channel between Russia and Ukraine," the company said

Mail.Ru Group will cease delivering its internet traffic to internet exchange points in Ukraine, the company’s press service said.
"We think that this will not affect our Ukrainian users because there are many other channels of commercial operators, apart from our channel between Russia and Ukraine," the company said. The decision to stop delivering traffic was made for purely economic reasons, Mail.Ru Group noted adding that Ukrainian communication operators have increased prices for certain services by several times since the start of the year.

"We are ready to organize communication channels with any Ukrainian operators that will want to connect to us at our presence points," the press service said.
