Russia destroys almost all its chemical weapons

Russia has already destroyed 96.2 percent of its chemical weapons, the Department of Public Relations of the Federal Agency for Safe Storage and Destruction of Chemical Weapons said today.

In late October, the head of the Federal Department for Safe Storage and Destruction of Chemical Weapons, Colonel-General Valery Kapashin said that Russia will complete the destruction of its chemical weapons in December 2017.
