Georgia to introduce military recruitment system

Georgian Defense Minister Levan Izoria has hosted the Chairman of the Estonian Parliament’s Committee of National Defense, Hannes Hans.

According to the Defense Ministry, the two sides focused on the importance of compulsory military service. Levan Izoria said that the Georgian side will introduce a recruitment system in compliance with the standards of NATO member states.

Levan Izoria thanked the guest for support in the implementation of the NATO substantial package.

The meeting also focused on bilateral cooperation, sharing of knowledge and experience.
