EU to decide on visa-free regime today

Leading EU institutions today will discuss a new mechanism of suspending visa-free regime, which determines the abolition of visa requirements for citizens of Ukraine and Georgia.

"The Slovak presidency will convene a regular trilateral meeting with participation of representatives of member states at the EU Council, the European Parliament and the European Commission. The aim of the meeting is to complete negotiations on the introduction of a new mechanism of suspending visa-free regime with third countries".
